Rugby Events

LI: apply inquiry, literacy and numeracy skills to learn about the RWC.

For this activity we had to do one of the literacy activities, the one that my group did was called rugby events, we had to supply three famous rugby events with an image to show it, we also had to write what the date was when the event happened, what happened at the event and what memories does the person remember from the event. The events that we chose were the Lions vs the All Blacks, Tonga vs England and the RWC. I learned by choosing three rugby events.

This week I had to find out about the  World Time  zones for the different countries during the the finals of the RWC on 2nd Nov ant 6pm JST.

From this research I found out that Fiji and NZ share the same time zone.

In James group we were doing arm stokes with a board and then we had to rotate on to our back after three strokes. After done back strokes but then we had to rotate half way. Then we were doing other things like stream line and streamline with kicking at the end.

This week for reading. I had to do imagery and procedure and then I had to do my slides and then I had to make a screencastify then i had to blog it.

Duffy roll moell

This week for assembly we met a man called Jamie for our Duffy roll motel show. When we first met him, he showed us a movie about the all blacks playing from different teams in rugby. After that, he told us about what happened in the movie. Then he told us were he works at and he works at a big Stadium and he gets to go watch the game and he gets to see the cool part what's his teams and what cowcatchers he lives in.

Today I did writing. For writing I had to do, what to sell and then I had to do 2 slides. I had to
write some words in 1 of the slides and then in the next one I had to find a image and then explain why Mr Wong has to buy it.

L.I: To use simple machines
Today  our simple machine we did an Archimedes screw. A Archimedes screw is like a tube that scoops up water in a spiral. Attach the tube around the pole and you got your Screw. Get in a 45 degree angle and start spinning the Screw around so the tube can scoop the water all the way to the top.
