L.I: To use simple machines
Today our simple machine we did an Archimedes screw. A Archimedes screw is like a tube that scoops up water in a spiral. Attach the tube around the pole and you got your Screw. Get in a 45 degree angle and start spinning the Screw around so the tube can scoop the water all the way to the top.
