This week I had to do informaitoin report. A informaition report is a report that gives you facts about something that you what to learn about. I learned about a clown fish a clown fish eats meat and plants. Clown fish are a sub family made up of 28 different species.

Verb	Watching  barking  Bouncing  Open Lifts Sit	Meanings Watching means watching somebody. Barking is speaking. Bouncing means Jumping. Open means opening a  passage . Lifts means raies somebody . Sit means sit down.
Adjectives	Wide Barking  waving	Wide means that road is wide . Barking means talking. Waving means goodbye.
Nouns	Shoes morning	Something that goes on your feet. When you wake up.

In the morning the girl had one eye open and the dog opened one eye as will.	In the morning the girl got change and went for a walk	The dog was ready to go for a walk so they started walking.

Today I had to find verds, nouns, Adjectives.

A verb is a action like runing

A noun is a word naming an attribute of a noun 

An adjective is desribing words

Summerisiing is telling a shorted text that contains all the main points.

Maths

We learned how to subtacion useing tidy numebers. I solved 64-7= ?

The nearest tidy number was 60 so i had to take away the 4 from the 64 to get 60 .

Then I Took away 3 from 60 then i got 57.

Then after we finshed the problems we chicked if it was right with scales

Properties of Light

Light makes things bright.

Light has lots of properties, like white light can split into diffent colours.

Light can change direction through glass.

Light can't go through opaque objects.

Light can be found in a lot of places.


 

T2W1 - Reading - ANZAC

The history of ANZAC

    ANZAC is short for Australia and New Zealand Army corps.

They were called in along side the British and French to attack the turks at Gallipoli to help lower the pressure on Russian forces who were fighting the Germans.

The ANZAC's landed at Gaba tepe where they would try to take the peninsula while fighting the Ottoman forces.
8556 New Zealanders landed at what would now be named the ANZAC cove of which 7447 were killed or wounded.      

           


                                     

In memory of the ANZACs, we stand at dawn on April 25th every year remembering them.

T2W1 - INFORM Number Bonds

A number bond is when 2 numbers are added to make a whole number.

The whole number we worked with was 10.

The number bonds for 10 are 1 and 9, 2 and 8, 3 and 7, 4 and 6 and 5 and 5.

To help you learn the number bonds to 10, you can make a Tens frame and use it to make a  number bonds rainbow.

My number bond rainbow is on my bedroom door.

T2W2 Math - Number Bonds Animation

Today I made a animation about number bonds to 10. I used my Tens frame, counters and my mums phone to make the animation. It was hard but then I got the hang of it.
I made the title and theme for the slides. Then I worked on the photos.

I started with the 1 + 9 bond and took 6 photos of the counters moving closer and closer to the tens frame. I then added each photo to a slide in the right order and changed the slides auto advanced (when played) settings to every 2 seconds so it would change the slides fast to make the animated effect. When that looked good, I moved on to the next bond and so on.

Making the animation was fun when it wasnt hard.
